PYNEboard®PYNEboard particleboard is manufactured from managed & renewable plantation pine in a range of thicknesses and sheet sizes. Its fine, uniform surface makes it an ideal substrate for laminating or veneering and is suitable for building panels, benches, shelves & partitions. |

PYNEboard particleboard is available in many sizes and thicknesses from 9mm to 33mm (for the complete range of sheet sizes click here). The comprehensive range allows economic cutting of boards. PYNEboard is easy to work with normal woodworking tools as it has no grain direction so there is the same strength and appearance in all directions. The fine surface layers are also pre-sanded, ready for painting or laminating. PYNEboard is available in two grades, standard and moisture resistant substrates, making it ideal for Cabinetry.
PYNEboard is also available surfaced with a white decorative paper.
Two finishes area available in PYNEboard white
- Velvet – a delicate eggshell surface
- Décor – a lightly dimpled texture
PYNEboard Sheet Sizes
PYNEboard is available in two grades: standard and moisture resistant substrates. Where applications may be subjected to conditions of high relative humidity or occasional wetting, such as bathroom vanities, and kitchen cupboards PYNEboard MR should be used.

Certification & Compliance
Pyneboard is produced to meet Australian Standard AS/NZS 1859.1:2004 - Particleboard, and is also independently tested and accredited by the Australian Wood Panels Association (AWPA). Click here to access our AWPA certificate.
Formaldehyde emissions meet the E1 standard of <1.5 mg/L when tested in accordance with AS/NZS 4266.16:2004 – test method 16.
E0 (E zero) Pyneboard (<0.5 mg/L) is also available (note: minimum order quantities may apply).
Green Star environmental ratings – both E1 and E0 Pyneboard are eligible to earn points under the Indoor Environment Quality section of the Green Star Office Interiors program. Click here to access a declaration that can be used for Green Star audit purposes.
